My picks for Best Dressed
Sandra Bullock is one of my favorite actresses and this emerald green Lanvin dress makes me forgive her and completely forget about the dress she wore to the Globes (it made my worst dressed list). The color is perfect, the hair, the accessories are all simple and classic. I love the slit in her gown, it’s tasteful but edgy.
Sofia Vergara never disappoints, and she certainly shines in this glitzy gown, quite similar to the gown Kate Beckinsale wore at the Globes. Love the hair, makeup and necklace.
This woman is a force to be reckoned with. Lupita wowed us with her red silk cape Ralph Lauren gown at the Globes and this week she’s rocking a beautiful turquoise Gucci gown with an embellished neckline. She clearly knows how to compliment her body and her skin tone.
Thank heavens Jennifer Lawrence decided to mix it up and take a risk, and that risk certainly paid of in this Dior gown. It’s elegant and edgy and certainly a departure from her usual Dior gowns.
Hannah Simone looks simply ethereal in this gown, love the simple updo and minimalistic makeup.
Tina fey looks amazing in this black fitted gown, and of course she brought along the most adorable accessory on the red carpet that night, her beautiful daughter Alice.
Jennifer Garner is smoking hot in this simple but chic navy gown, best dressed presenter in my view.
I love the Showtime TV series Homeland, and Morena Baccarain looks absolutely stunning just 3 months after giving birth to her son. The dress is flattering for her post pregnancy figure and she’s still glowing!
My picks for Worst Dressed
I don’t know what Rose was thinking…I have no words.
In case you didn’t know, Kerri Washington is pregnant, what is she doing in this cropped beaded blouse and skirt? I have no idea.
I commend Julia Roberts for taking a fashion risk on the red carpet but I don’t think this wide legged pink jumpsuit is doing her body any justice.
Claire Danes just looks like a hot mess to me, from the dress to the hair to the makeup.
Cate made my best dressed list for the Globes and now she’s on my worst dressed for this pink number. Not sure what she was going for in this one.
Looks I’m having a love/hate relationship with…
I’m so happy to see Kaley Cuoco in a more figure flattering dress than the one she wore for the Globes, but I think the grey color isn’t doing much for her. I think this dress in a more bold color or even a simple black would have made it into my best dressed list.
This shade of blue was really popular at last year’s Sag Awards and although I think Amy is beautiful I just don’t know how I feel about this dress, with that hair style and those shoes.
Our favorite Mother of Dragons, Emilia Clarke is gorgeous whether she’s blonde or brunette. I just think the shape of this gown isn’t right but I do love the rose gold color and her hair style.
Michelle Dockery is quite unlike her Downton Abbey character Mary in this cleavage baring black and white number. Liking the risk but not the dress to be honest.
