As I mentioned in my Blogilates post (you can find it here, I’m really trying to eat healthy and incorporate daily workouts into my lifestyle.  Joe Cross, author of “Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead”  was featured on Dr. Oz’s TV program and talked about how he did a juicing cleanse and lost over 100 lbs and healed himself of his ailments (high blood pressure etc) in 60 days. You’re probably thinking “Whaaaaatt?” …no ladies I’m not crazy or in need of losing that much weight, I don’t intend on doing such an extreme diet, but I am interested in juicing and cleansing my body.

Joe Cross also featured a 3 day cleanse which is much more practical and consists of items i’m pretty sure most people already have in their kitchen.
Check out the full documentary here.
(Excerpt from Dr Oz’ website)
To help you reap the benefits of juicing, Cross has developed a 3-day weekend cleanse that you can do with simple ingredients right at home.
For 3 days, you will drink a total of 5 juices per day – and eat one meal that consists of only fruits and vegetables.

I’ve started my Juice Cleanse by substituting a juice drink for breakfast. You don’t have to go to the extreme and do the 3 day cleanse, or even drink the juice all day, you can incorporate it into your healthy eating plan. There are a lot of other sites with yummy and healthy juice recipes too, so the possibilities are endless. Even though it’s best with a juicer, I use a blender and simply use a strainer to get rid of the pulp.
